After a month of being away racing in the Med on the Wally I am back with happy to be back with Night Fever. I return to collect the boat from Port Medoc and after some quick jobs that need taking care of, I delivered back up to Lorient.
The delivery was painfully slow with a lot of swell and around an average of 4 knot from dead behind, (not a good angle with that lighter wind, you end up gybing through huge angles to power up the boat and don't make much distance to location.
Then suddenly from know where a huge squall came through around an hour out of Lorint and I had winds of 25+knots, luckily when I saw the huge black storm clouds coming I dropped the Large kite.
Then boat is now out of the water and I am heading back to the UK to make a plan of where I am going to do the re-fit over winter
